We’re supporting a key client on a live substation project in Arbroath, and they’re looking for someone to step into a Quality/Sub Agent role for a 6‑month period, with the possibility of further work. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer who wants to move into a more supervisory or management‑focused role, or someone already working at Sub Agent level who’s looking for a steady, long‑term project.

The Project

  • Removal of RAAC
  • Construction of a small new building
  • Supervising works on a live substation

There will be little to no setting out, making this ideal for someone looking to step away from purely engineering duties and develop further in quality, supervision, and coordination.

Who They’re Open To

  • An experienced Sub Agent or Quality‑focused engineer
  • A Site Engineer ready to step up into a more managerial role
  • A younger engineer with no previous quality/supervision experience, as they’re willing to mentor and develop the right person

Required Qualifications

  • CSCS (essential)
  • SMSTS (preferred)
  • CAT1 or CAT3 (ideal, but not essential)
