We’re looking for a Senior Estimator to join our client's dynamic team, specialising in refurbishment and fit-out works across commercial, education and healthcare sectors. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of accurate cost estimates and tender submissions
- Evaluate drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive budgets
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes
- Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions
- Collaborate closely with project managers and commercial teams
- Attend pre-tender meetings and client presentations when required
- Support and mentor junior estimating staff
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in estimating refurbishment and fit-out projects (minimum 5 years)
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry pricing
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar (preferred)
