An established, design-led engineering consultancy is looking for a skilled Revit Technician to join their growing team in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented technician to work on a wide range of structural engineering projects, delivering high-quality BIM models and technical drawings across the residential, commercial, and public sectors.

The Role:

  • Working closely with engineers and project teams, you’ll take a lead role in producing accurate 3D models and technical drawings using Revit Structure.
  • You’ll support the delivery of coordinated, clash-free models and contribute to the development of BIM processes and standards within the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage detailed Revit models for structural projects in concrete, steel, masonry, and timber.
  • Produce 2D and 3D technical drawings in accordance with project specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain model integrity, file structure, and documentation standards.
  • Assist with BIM coordination and contribute to digital workflow improvements.

About You:

  • Strong proficiency in Revit Structure with a solid understanding of structural detailing.
  • Previous experience in a consultancy or design office environment.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
