Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Inverness

Remuneration: £60,000-70,000 + £8,000 car allowance + benefits

Employment Type: Permanent

Our client has a well-established and demonstrable track record of delivering works to a high standard. Their consistent service to the wider construction industry has seen them go from strength to strength. Operating primarily as a main contractor, the business maintains a “family feel” and upholds the values and principles of a traditional organisation.

They have recently secured success within clean water frameworks and, as a result, are looking to expand their team with the addition of a Project Manager to be based in Inverness. You will join a team committed to the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of clean water infrastructure projects.

As Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) standards are met
  • Budget management
  • Oversight and leadership of site personnel
  • Commercial management
  • Preparation of reports and accurate record-keeping
  • Ensuring all contractual obligations are fulfilled

Essential Requirements:

  • Educated to degree or HNC level in a relevant Civil Engineering discipline
  • Proven experience managing projects within the Scottish Water framework or Civil engineering projects
  • Extensive technical knowledge and responsibility across all civil site activities
  • Strong communication skills with a proactive approach
  • Willingness to travel and work in Inverness and have oversight in Dundee
  • Full UK driving licence
