As part of the ongoing DV2 framework delivery, we’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of key projects within the water and wastewater portfolio. This is a temporary contract role offering the opportunity to work on high-profile infrastructure improvements that will protect the environment and secure water resilience for future generations.
The Role
As Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for the safe and successful delivery of projects within a multidisciplinary team environment. You’ll lead on planning, procurement, and execution — ensuring compliance, safety, and commercial goals are met throughout the full project lifecycle.
Day to day duties and responsibilities include:
- Developing tender, design, and construction programmes, and managing delivery against these plans.
- Reviewing contracts, specifications, and drawings to ensure accuracy and build confidence in delivery.
- Managing subcontract procurement and materials sourcing, including estimating and costing support.
- Overseeing health, safety, and environmental compliance, including preparation and management of construction phase plans and quality documentation.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with the client, consultants, and supply chain partners.
What You’ll Bring
To succeed in this role, you’ll need proven experience managing projects within the water, wastewater, or broader infrastructure sectors. You’ll combine technical understanding with commercial awareness and site leadership ability.
Essential criteria
- Demonstrable background in engineering or project supervision (mechanical, electrical, or civil).
- Strong project planning, specification, and commissioning knowledge.
- Understanding of NEC4 contract administration.
- Commitment to applying quality assurance and health safety best practice.
- Full UK driving licence.
