Job Description

Senior Quantity Surveyor An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and growing contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional looking to play a key role in delivering high-quality projects while working within a supportive and collaborative team.

Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager , you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring costs are effectively controlled while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and the wider project team.

The Role Manage the commercial performance of multiple construction projects.

Prepare, submit, and negotiate valuations, variations, and final accounts.

Procure and manage subcontractor packages.

Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow.

Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.

Provide accurate financial reporting to the Commercial Manager.

Work closely with operational teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners.

About You Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally at Senior level.

Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

Experience managing projects throughout the full project lifecycle.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative commercial team.

Relevant construction or quantity surveying qualification preferred.
