An established and highly respected engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Office Manager to join its Glasgow headquarters. With a strong reputation for delivering innovative and cost-effective solutions across a diverse range of projects, the business is entering an exciting period of growth and is looking for an organised, proactive professional to play a key role in its continued success. Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, you will take ownership of office operations and provide administrative support across the business. This is a varied position requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the office
  • Coordinating facilities, suppliers and office resources
  • Supporting senior management with administrative and organisational tasks
  • Assisting with HR administration and employee records
  • Managing company documentation and maintaining accurate records
  • Coordinating meetings, diaries and office communications
  • Supporting finance processes including purchase orders, invoicing and general administration
  • Ensuring company procedures and compliance requirements are maintained
  • Acting as a key point of contact for staff, clients and external stakeholders

We are looking for an experienced Office Manager who can work independently and confidently within a professional services environment. You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in an Office Manager or Senior Administrator role
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience working within engineering, construction, consultancy or other professional services environments would be advantageous
