Senior Site Engineer | Isle of Lewis | Accommodation & Flights Included
\n Some projects come and go. Others become the kind of scheme you'll be talking about years from now.
\n We're working exclusively with a highly respected civil engineering contractor that continues to secure major infrastructure work across Scotland. Due to continued growth on a flagship energy project in the Western Isles, they're looking to bring an experienced Senior Site Engineer on board for an immediate start.
\n This is a chance to join a major infrastructure project that will keep you busy for at least the next 12 months, working on a scheme that will play a key role in Scotland's future energy network.
The Role
\n You'll be responsible for all aspects of engineering support on site, including:

- \n
- Setting out works across a large-scale infrastructure project
- Carrying out surveys and quantity calculations
- Managing and checking engineering quality on site
- Supporting site management with day-to-day project delivery
- Mentoring and developing junior engineers
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and efficiently

What We're Looking For
\n
- \n
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer or Senior Site Engineer on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Strong setting out capability
- Experience carrying out surveys and calculating quantities
- Ability to mentor and support less experienced engineers
- CSCS Card essential
- Someone who can hit the ground running and take ownership of engineering duties on site
