We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Document Controller to join a major UK project. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in Document Control, who is confident managing project information, maintaining document workflows and supporting project teams to ensure information is accurate, accessible and up to date.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in managing project information across BIM 360, SharePoint and client Common Data Environments, ensuring documentation is controlled and managed in line with agreed processes and requirements. Working closely with engineering, project and site teams, you’ll support the effective exchange of information, maintain document registers and workflows, and provide guidance and support to project users, subcontractors and other stakeholders. You’ll also have the opportunity to support the wider rollout and use of BIM 360, helping project teams get the most from digital information management systems.
We’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a Document Control or Document Management role
- Background within engineering, construction, utilities or infrastructure
- Experience managing project documentation within a Common Data Environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with BIM 360 Docs is highly desirable
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM processes would be advantageous
- A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a wider project team
