Site Manager – New Housing Development – Inverness Location: Inverness Job Type: Permanent Our client, a well-established and highly respected housebuilder, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a new residential housing development in Inverness. Reporting to the Contracts Manager , you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the development, ensuring homes are built safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day running of a new housing development from site set-up through to completion. Lead and motivate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve programme milestones. Ensure homes are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and workmanship. Monitor build progress and proactively address any issues that could impact programme or budget. Maintain strict compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures. Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks, and subcontractor meetings. Work closely with the Contracts Manager to ensure the successful delivery of the development. Maintain accurate site records, reports, and project documentation. Promote a positive site culture focused on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience managing residential housing developments as a Site Manager. Strong understanding of traditional and timber frame housebuilding methods. Proven ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors while delivering against programme. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations within housebuilding. SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications are essential. Full UK driving licence.
