A well-established civil engineering contractor is looking to recruit a General Foreman to support a strong pipeline of infrastructure projects. Works will include reservoir access schemes, bridge construction and upgrades, access roads, earthworks, and concrete structures, alongside projects in the water, marine, and energy sectors.
The Role
- Oversee day-to-day site operations, managing labour, subcontractors, and plant
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
- Monitor progress and report to Site/Project Manager
- Deliver briefings, toolbox talks, and maintain HSE standards
- Coordinate materials, plant, and workforce to meet programme
- Maintain quality standards and resolve any site issues
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Foreman or General Foreman in civil engineering
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Good understanding of HSE and site best practices
- Ability to read and work from drawings
- Qualifications: SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS card, First Aid (preferred)
