Contract Scotland are working with a Fife based main contractor to source an experienced Estimator to join their preconstruction team. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established and busy contractor delivering a range of new-build and refurbishment projects.

As Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive cost estimates across various sectors including industrial, retail, commercial, distilleries, and more, supporting the pre-construction team from tender stage through to submission. You’ll work closely with internal teams, clients, and the supply chain to ensure bids are commercially sound and aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
– Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for new projects.
– Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documents to inform pricing.
– Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to source competitive quotations.
– Supporting value engineering, risk analysis, and buildability reviews.
– Collaborating with colleagues across pre-construction and project delivery.
