Contract Scotland are looking to support a contractor with the appointment of an experienced Agent / Construction Manager to join a busy, live civils project in Dundee, with an immediate start available.
The Role
- This is a hands-on role supporting a Senior PM across two nearby sites with a combined value of £5–6m.
- The initial contract will run for 4–6 months, with strong potential for further work on upcoming projects.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and supporting site teams and subcontractors
- Managing concrete works, highways and general civils activities
- Overseeing programme, paperwork and daily site operations
- Ensuring high standards of health & safety
- Working closely with site squads and senior management
- Providing input from a commercial perspective where required
Requirements
- Solid experience in concrete structures, highways and civils
- Confident managing live sites and engaging site teams
- CSCS and SMSTS – essential
- First Aid – preferred
- Available for Mon–Fri working, 9–10 hour days (very occasional weekends)
Location & Logistics
- Dundee-based sites in close proximity
- Occasional visits to an offsite yard in Irvine
Rates & Engagement
- CIS or PAYE/Umbrella
