We are currently seeking an experienced Sub Agent to support the Project Manager on a civil engineering project close to Stirling, starting ASAP and running through to Christmas 2026.
The successful candidate will work closely with an experienced Project Manager, providing support with the day-to-day management and delivery of work on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager with the day-to-day running of the project.
- Assist with coordinating site activities, labour, plant, and subcontractors.
- Monitor progress and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
- Assist with site documentation, reporting, and quality control.
- Ensure health, safety and environmental requirements are maintained across the site.
- Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, and the wider project team.
- Help identify and resolve any issues that may affect programme, quality or safety.
- Support the Project Manager in ensuring works are delivered in accordance with project specifications and programme requirements.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Sub Agent, Site Agent, or similar senior site-based role within civil engineering.
Qualifications
- CSCS card.
- SMSTS qualification.
- First Aid certification.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering construction and site operations.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a site management team.
- A proactive approach with a strong focus on health, safety, quality, and programme.
