Contract Scotland are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to support a substation project in Keith, focused on cabling pulling and associated works.
Project Overview
This is a straightforward, hands-on site role involving:
- Cable pulling and installation works within a live substation environment
- Simple termination of cables at both ends
- Day-to-day site management and coordination
- Overseeing and managing scaffolding activities
- Ensuring safe, efficient delivery of works on site
Requirements
- Proven experience in cable pulling works
- Previous experience working on substation / power / utilities projects
- Valid site qualifications ideally including: SMSTS, CSCS card (appropriate level), First Aid
- Strong site coordination and subcontractor management experience
- Ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
