We are currently recruiting for a

Metal Polisher on behalf of our client based in the NR29 area.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business, offering a temporary-to-permanent position for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will be involved in the production and finishing of high-quality products, working as part of a skilled manufacturing team.

Full training will be provided on specialist processes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor machinery used in the manufacturing and finishing process.
  • Work from engineering drawings and specifications to ensure products meet customer requirements.
  • Carry out polishing, finishing, and quality inspection tasks to a high standard.
  • Load programmes and operate production equipment following training.
  • Handle and move materials safely throughout the production process.
  • Maintain excellent attention to detail and adhere to company quality standards.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures within the workplace.
  • Support the wider production team with additional duties as required.
  • Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience in metal polishing, manufacturing, engineering, or production environments would be advantageous.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is beneficial, although training can be provided.
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Reliable, hardworking, and keen to learn new skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work a demanding and hands‑on role
