Contract Personnel are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Cleaner on the outskirts of Norwich. This is a full-time role and own transport is essential due to site location. All candidates should make sure to read the following job description and information carefully before applying.
Working hours are Monday to Friday - 14:00 - 22:00.
Job Details:
- As a hygiene cleaner, you will be responsible for cleaning food production rooms, machinery, and equipment using a pressure hose and hand padding. Usually, this starts at 17:00 after production has finished.
- Between 14:00 and 17:00, the main cleaning duties will involve walking around stores tidying up, cleaning yard/stores/staff areas, taking rubbish out, possibly stock checking, and collecting ingredients for production staff β generally making yourself useful with mental tasks associated with a meat factory operation to help operations run smoothly and keep the site clean and tidy.
- You will receive on-the-job training and will be responsible for specific areas, helping with other cleaner areas as required.
- You must comply with all factory rules and regulations, be hygienic, and have a good eye for detail.
- Must complete the standard factory induction process.
- Some lifting may be required to move machinery, raw materials, and cleaning materials.
- Any other duties as required.

- Previous hygiene cleaner experience
- Good timekeeping and good eye for details
- Comfortable with potential lifting/moving of machinery
