Contract Personnel is recruiting for a privately owned manufacturer and developer of plastic packaging for a variety of industries, with many well-known brands, with a reputation for quality, service, and innovation.
The Role:
- Working in a small team to ensure that quality and cleanliness of product are maintained to an excellent standard.
- Responsible for packing, labelling and recording product as necessary.
- Documenting and recording product details.
- Always ensuring quality of product.
- Product inspection.
- Maintaining safety and hygiene standards are met.
- Ensuring operating procedures are always fully complied with.
- Respond to machine alarms.
- Conduct colour changes to specific customer standards and complete accurate documentation.
- Machine and auxiliary clean downs.
- Advance to higher grades and take on respective additional responsibilities.
- Assisting with training when level reached.
- Full training will be provided.
The Candidate:
- Strong numeracy skills.
- Excellent timekeeping.
- Good attention to detail.
- Clear and accurate record keeping.
- Ability to uphold Health and Safety practices.
- Desire and ability to learn.
- High work ethic and team player.

Hours:
7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 3-shift rotating pattern, (06:00am to 14:00pm, 22:00pm to 06:00am and 14:00pm to 22:00pm (1/2-hour unpaid break per shift). Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required depending on the needs of the company.
Pay: £12.71 per hour (Day rate) and £13.51 (Night rate). Rates will increase with grade progression.
