Are you looking for a hands-on role in a busy production environment? We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Operative to join our team in Holt on a temporary ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Packing Desserts & Puddings: Carefully pack desserts and puddings into various boxes or sleeves, ensuring that the products are correctly sealed and labelled.
- Metal Detection: Run packed products through metal detectors to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Dessert Assembly: Hand-assemble desserts by filling moulds with jelly, placing ingredients into pots, and assembling components as needed.
- Tray Stacking: After assembly, place completed desserts into trays and stack these trays onto trolleys for storage or transport.
- General Duties: Be flexible and assist with any other tasks as required by the production team.
Requirements:
- Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy and consistency when packing or assembling desserts.
- Ability to Work Efficiently: Work quickly while maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.
- Physical Stamina: Able to stand for extended periods, and carry out manual handling tasks such as lifting trays and stacking trolleys.
- Team Player: Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, but not essential.
