Our client, a leading renewable energy company, is seeking an experienced Electrician to join their growing team in East Anglia. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of domestic, commercial, and industrial solar projects, including PV installations, battery storage, EV charging, and maintenance.
What you’ll be doing:
- Installing, commissioning, and maintaining Solar PV systems and related renewable energy solutions.
- Upgrading existing systems and carrying out reactive repairs and planned maintenance.
- Supporting and guiding less experienced installers on site, sharing your knowledge of best practices.
- Completing all necessary paperwork and certification to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Working safely at heights and across both residential and commercial premises.
What we’re looking for:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent (required).
- Proven experience in Solar PV installation, commissioning, and testing (essential).
- At least 3 years’ general electrical experience, including working at heights and on roofing projects.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to commute reliably to Norwich NR13 6NT, or willingness to relocate.
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate of £18–£30, depending on experience.
- Full-time hours, with a standard schedule of Monday to Friday, 7:30–16:30.
