Contract Personnel are currently recruiting for Fibreglass Laminators based in the South Norfolk area. The ideal candidate will be proficient in working with fibreglass materials and moulds to produce high-quality automotive components. Own transport is essential. This is an excellent temp to perm opportunity.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Read and understand lay-up drawings and use laminating skills to carry out the required workload to the lay-up specification
  • Preparing moulds, applying release agents, and laying fibreglass matting and resin
  • Apply layers of gel to mould surfaces prior to placement of fibreglass mat, repeating layers until products have the desired thickness
  • Identifying and repairing defects in GRP components
  • Mask off mould areas which are not to be laminated, using cellophane, wax paper, masking tape, or special sprays containing mould-releasing substances
  • Any other duties as required

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30

  • GRP Laminating experience essential
