Contract Personnel are looking for experienced Workshop Operatives to join an expanding manufacturing business based North of Norwich City Centre.

Day‐to‐day responsibilities

  • Constructing, assembling and finishing precision‐engineered products using both hand and power tools
  • Working on complex builds requiring engineering knowledge and technical aptitude
  • Fabricating sub‐assemblies for sophisticated product ranges
  • Collaborating with CAD designers and workshop management on innovative solutions
  • Maintaining exceptional quality standards throughout the production process

Key qualifications and skills

  • Basic engineering experience, e.g. cabinet/kitchen building or window industry experience
  • Previous experience with hand/power tools in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read from engineering drawings
  • Team player with excellent communication skills

Schedule and Compensation

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 18:00
  • 15 min break @ 10:30am, 30 min break @ 1pm, 15 mins break @ 3pm
  • Salary: £12.60ph starting, progressing to £12.88ph
