We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Assembly Technician to join our client's team in Beccles on a temp to perm basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled electrical fitter or technician with experience working with industrial or commercial electrical systems, particularly those with knowledge of electrical wiring, pneumatic systems, control panels and automation machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install electrical components and wiring in accordance with electrical schematic diagrams.

  • Install pneumatic components, pipework and equipment in accordance with pneumatic diagrams.

  • Prepare and assemble cable and pipeways, brackets and support systems.

  • Connect electrical circuits and networks, ensuring components are correctly installed and compatible.

  • Carry out pre-commissioning checks and testing of completed systems.

  • Undertake routine inspections and preventative maintenance.

  • Diagnose faults, hazards and malfunctions and repair or replace damaged components.

  • Carry out electrical and pneumatic installation work at customer sites across the UK and, occasionally, overseas.

  • Work safely and responsibly at all times, following relevant procedures, regulations and company standards.

About You

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and safety-conscious Electrical Fitter / Electrical Assembly Technician who is confident working with a variety of electrical equipment and systems.

You will ideally have:

  • Proven experience working as an electrical fitter, electrical technician or similar.

  • Experience with industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.

  • The ability to read and work from electrical and pneumatic schematic diagrams and technical drawings.

  • Competence using electrical and hand tools, including wire strippers, voltmeters and similar equipment.
