We’re recruiting a Commis Chef to join a well-established contract catering team in Witney on a temp-to-perm basis.
Working alongside another chef, you’ll help prepare and serve evening meals for approximately 150 people across two services. This is a great opportunity for a Commis Chef looking to develop their skills and progress within a professional kitchen. You will mainly be reheating fresh food which is prepared during the lunch service.

Duties include:
Reheating and serving food prepared by the day team
Cooking some dishes from fresh
Preparing salads for the salad bar
Preparing for breakfast service
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
Supporting with general kitchen duties
What we’re looking for:
Previous kitchen or Chef experience
Reliable and confident working independently
Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen standards
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Own transport essential due to the location and working hours
