The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at a prestigious independent school in Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity for a Chef de Partie looking for a Monday to Friday role with the potential to become permanent. You will be working as part of a professional brigade of four chefs, preparing high-quality food from scratch. The school also provides hospitality catering, including fine-dining dinners and special events, offering a varied and rewarding working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working across different sections of the kitchen as a Chef de Partie
  • Preparing and cooking food from scratch to a high standard

There are three lunch sittings, with service running from 10:55am to 1:45pm, providing a structured daytime service.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie
  • Experience in volume catering
  • Good knowledge of fresh food preparation and cooking
  • Ability to work across different kitchen sections
  • A positive, professional attitude and good team-working skills
  • An Enhanced DBS is required for the role; the agency can assist with your application
