About the Role:
Contract Options are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sous Chef to join our team on a flexible, temporary basis. You will be required to work across three different locations, ensuring high standards of food preparation, presentation, and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals in a timely and professional manner
- Oversee kitchen operations, managing staff and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
- Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and inventory management
- Supervise and support junior kitchen staff, ensuring they are trained and maintain high standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene standards
- Flexibility to work across all three locations as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef, with a strong culinary background
- British nationality (due to site regulations)
- Basic DBS check (due to site requirements)
- UK driving licence (essential for travel between locations)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
