CLS Healthcare is looking forreliable and compassionate Support Workers to provideshort-term, ad hoc support in supported accommodation and community services.

You’ll help adults facing homelessness, substance misuse, or social exclusion, ensuring they feel safe, supported, and included during your shift.

This role also involves maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, including communal cleaning tasks, making the spaces safe and hygienic for service users.

This is ideal for anyone wanting flexible, meaningful work without long-term commitment.

  • Provide a safe and welcoming environment for service users.
  • Assist with cleaning and maintaining communal areas

(kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces).

  • Support service users with daily activities and community engagement during your shift.
  • Respond calmly to emergencies or incidents.
  • Keep accurate records of any observations or incidents.
  • Uphold safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.

About You

  • Caring, dependable, and adaptable.
  • Comfortable with cleaning/domestic tasks.
  • 6 months recent and relevant experience in care or supported living is essential.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and health & safety.
  • Able to work ad hoc shifts

— days, evenings, weekends often at short notice.

  • Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply) & right to work in the UK.
