We're supporting an established manufacturing group with the confidential appointment of a Financial Controller to join one of its key operating businesses.
With annual revenues in the low tens of millions and ambitious plans for growth, the business is looking for a commercially minded finance leader who can work closely with the Managing Director to improve financial visibility, strengthen cost controls and support operational decision-making.
This is a hands-on leadership role with a particular focus on manufacturing cost accounting, margin improvement and driving greater efficiency across the business.
The opportunity:
- Lead a small, established finance team with responsibility for management accounts, reporting and financial controls.
- Partner directly with the MD and operational leadership to identify opportunities for improved performance and profitability.
- Develop greater visibility of manufacturing costs, product margins and operational efficiencies.
- Improve financial systems, processes and the quality of management information.
- Support wider group reporting and contribute to the business's growth ambitions.
We're particularly interested in speaking with qualified accountants who have strong experience within manufacturing environments, ideally involving steel, fabrication or other cost-intensive production processes.
This is a confidential search, so further business details will be shared following an initial conversation.
