Continuum Therapy Partners is hiring a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position at Bethea Retirement Community in Darlington, South Carolina.

This opportunity allows you to provide speech therapy services to adult and geriatric residents in a collaborative rehabilitation setting focused on improving communication, cognition, swallowing, and overall quality of life.

  • Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat adult and geriatric patients with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop individualized speech therapy treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  • Perform dysphagia evaluations and implement evidence-based swallowing interventions.
  • Provide cognitive-communication, language, speech, and voice therapy.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and home programs.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
  • Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation in accordance with Medicare, state, federal, and company guidelines.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
  • Current South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
  • Experience in senior living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or post-acute care is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interdisciplinary teamwork skills.
