Quality Engineer Worcestershire c.£50,000 + benefits Full-time, On-site We're supporting a well-established manufacturer in the appointment of a Quality Engineer to join its multi-disciplinary Quality team.

This is a quality systems-focused position, responsible for maintaining, improving and developing the systems and processes that underpin manufacturing quality.

Alongside leading internal audits, you'll play a key role in driving compliance, continuous improvement and ensuring the Quality Management System remains effective across the business.

This opportunity would suit someone currently working as a Quality Systems Engineer, Quality Engineer or Lead Auditor within a heavy manufacturing environment.

The role Maintain, develop and improve the Quality Management System Plan, lead and conduct internal system and process audits Ensure compliance with ISO standards and customer requirements Drive corrective and preventive actions through to completion Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and business processes Review and improve quality procedures, documentation and processes Work closely with production, engineering and operational teams to embed best practice Support external audits, certification activities and customer visits Monitor system performance and identify opportunities to improve quality and operational effectiveness The person Experience in a Quality Systems Engineer, Quality Engineer, Lead Auditor or similar role Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems within manufacturing Internal or Lead Auditor qualification desirable Experience within heavy manufacturing such as automotive, aerospace, industrial engineering, defence or similar Good understanding of ISO 9001, with additional standards beneficial Experience driving process improvement and resolving system non-conformances Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across manufacturing, engineering and quality teams Continuum Recruitment Group is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this permanent vacancy.
