We are working with a well-established UK manufacturer of security-rated infrastructure, supplying engineered solutions into critical environments across the built environment and infrastructure sectors. The business has a strong footprint across the North of the UK and Ireland, with an established client base and consistent revenue stream. The focus of this role is to build on that foundation, increasing market share while supporting growth into adjacent sectors, particularly within the security-rated (SR) and hostile vehicle mitigation (HVM) space.
This is a high-visibility role in a growing business that is expanding its product offering and route to market, creating genuine opportunity to develop new client relationships across the full project lifecycle.
The role
- Manage and grow an established regional account base across North UK & Ireland
- Identify and convert new business opportunities across SR and HVM solutions
- Engage across the full sales cycle, from early design/specification through to distribution and installation
- Build relationships with key stakeholders including consultants, specifiers, contractors, and installers
- Work closely with internal teams to support project delivery and ensure commercial success
- Contribute to regional strategy, targeting new sectors and applications
The person
- Proven track record in technical or solution-based sales within engineering or construction-related sectors
- Experience within security-rated infrastructure, perimeter protection, access control, or similar environments is highly desirable
- Comfortable operating across both account management and new business development
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder projects
- Able to engage at specification level as well as through distribution and delivery channels
- Self-sufficient and comfortable in a field-based role
