Location: Wall Heath
Working pattern: Full-time onsite. There may be some flexibility around working hours, but this is not a hybrid position.
I’m recruiting a Financial Accountant to join a well-established, mid-sized accountancy practice based in Wall Heath.
The practice works with a genuinely varied client base, including limited companies, LLPs, franchises and sole traders, so this is a broad role rather than one focused on a narrow client type or sector.
I’m looking for someone who can take real ownership of their work and see jobs through from start to completion. You’ll need strong accounts preparation experience, with the ability to prepare accounts to at least trial balance stage independently.
Tax knowledge would be highly advantageous, although the priority is someone with a solid grounding in accounts who understands the full process and is comfortable managing their own workload and client requirements.
There’s flexibility around background and level. You could be ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified and looking for a clear development route, or qualified by experience with strong practice exposure.
It could particularly suit someone looking for a more agile environment where they can have greater ownership of their work, whether you’re stepping up from a smaller practice or looking to move away from the structure of a larger national firm.
