We are working with a highly innovative, solution-led technology business operating across advanced energy systems and electrified platforms. The business delivers complex, integrated engineering solutions across battery systems, propulsion and system-level performance, with increasing focus across mobility, marine, defence and wider industrial applications.
This is a hands-on Engineering Manager role, leading a team of engineers while remaining closely involved in technical delivery. The position will play a key role in shaping engineering capability, with a particular focus on development, test, and system validation.
- Take a leading role in system-level testing, validation strategies, and performance optimisation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects from concept through to validation.
- Remain hands-on in complex technical challenges, particularly around system performance and integration.
- Contribute to NPI and development programmes, ensuring robust and efficient routes to deployment.
- Engage with customers and partners on technically complex projects where required.
Requirements:
- Strong background in energy systems development and test, ideally within electrified or hybrid platforms.
- Proven capability in system-level thinking, particularly around integration, validation, and performance.
- Background within mobility, marine, defence or industrial sectors preferred.
- Strong preference for experience gained outside of high-volume automotive environments.
