CI Projects is a boutique business consultancy committed to helping businesses continuously improve by enabling the true convergence of people, processes and technology. We work closely with clients to define the issue, the destination and how to get there – then provide the tools and confidence so they can keep improving long after we’ve gone.

We’re looking for a hands‑on Change Manager with strong Facilities Management operational experience to support the implementation and embedding of new systems, processes and operating models. If you enjoy improving frontline operations, engaging teams and turning change into practical ways of working, this role is for you.

Role overview

This is a delivery‑focused, client‑facing role supporting the transition to a new digital operating model. You will work alongside frontline teams, supervisors and managers to understand operational challenges, identify process gaps and help teams adopt new ways of working consistently.

The role combines process improvement, operational change and practical coaching. You will translate new processes into everyday activities, reinforce best practice and work with trainers to ensure learning is applied in day‑to‑day service delivery.

Strong FM operational experience is essential. Specific security experience is desirable, but the priority is someone who can build trust with operational teams, challenge existing practices constructively and embed sustainable improvements.

What you’ll be doing

  • Support the implementation and adoption of new systems, processes and operating models within FM security service.
  • Review existing working practices to identify process gaps, inefficiencies and barriers to change.
  • Translate new processes into clear, practical workflows and responsibilities for operational teams.
  • Work alongside frontline staff, supervisors and managers to build confidence in new ways of working.
  • Support role‑based training, collaborating with trainers to reinforce learning through practical coaching.
  • Encourage consistent behaviours, strengthen accountability and reinforce agreed service standards.
  • Apply process improvement approaches to improve operational efficiency, compliance and service delivery.
  • Gather feedback from teams, resolve practical challenges and refine processes where needed.
  • Monitor adoption and communicate progress, risks and issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support handover to operational leaders so improvements can be sustained beyond the assignment.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong operational experience within Facilities Management, with a clear understanding of frontline service delivery.
  • Proven experience implementing and embedding processes within complex operational environments.
  • Experience supporting transformation and helping teams adopt new systems and operating models.
  • Strong process improvement and problem‑solving skills; knowledge of Lean or Lean Six Sigma would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence working across frontline teams and management.
  • A hands‑on, approachable style and the ability to influence behaviours and challenge established practices constructively.
  • Experience coaching colleagues and supporting the practical application of training.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to identify operational gaps and take ownership of improvements.
