CI Projects is a boutique business consultancy committed to helping businesses continuously improve by enabling the true convergence of people, processes and technology. We’re looking for a hands‑on Project Manager to support a major HR transformation programme across the UK and EMEA region. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the regional delivery of a complex transformation initiative focused on modernising People Services, streamlining operations and embedding scalable ways of working across multiple countries and business functions.

If you’re an experienced transformation delivery professional who thrives on driving accountability, maintaining momentum and leading teams through complex change, this role could be an excellent fit.

Role Overview

This is a delivery‑focused, client‑facing role responsible for managing the end‑to‑end delivery of a large‑scale HR transformation programme across the UK and EMEA. As the Project Manager, you will take direct ownership of the regional project team, ensuring delivery remains on track, risks are proactively managed and stakeholders remain aligned throughout the programme lifecycle.

You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a disciplined operating rhythm, setting priorities, managing dependencies and holding delivery teams accountable for achieving agreed outcomes. Working closely with People Services, Digital & Technology teams and senior business leaders, you will act as the central point of accountability for regional delivery. This is not a coordination role. We are looking for someone who is comfortable leading project teams, making decisions, driving pace and taking ownership of delivery outcomes from initiation through to go‑live and hypercare.

What you’ll be doing
  • Directly manage the UK & EMEA project team, including workstream leads, business analysts and contractors.
  • Own the regional delivery plan end‑to‑end, translating programme objectives into clear weekly deliverables and milestones.
  • Set priorities across the project team and monitor progress against agreed commitments.
  • Drive accountability and address delivery slippage, risks and blockers before they impact programme outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain a disciplined delivery cadence through stand‑ups, delivery reviews, retrospectives and governance forums.
  • Lead the programme through initiation, implementation, go‑live and hypercare activities.
  • Define success criteria and ensure all milestones are clearly understood and achieved.
  • Maintain programme dashboards, RAID logs, delivery plans and governance documentation.
  • Lead weekly status meetings, monthly Steering Committee updates and quarterly leadership reviews.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across People Services, Digital & Technology and wider business functions.
  • Support resource planning activities and coordinate the onboarding of project support resources where required.
  • Monitor delivery against agreed scope, timelines and budget expectations.
  • Ensure effective communication, governance and decision‑making throughout the programme lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery effectiveness, programme governance and team performance.
What we’re looking for
  • Proven experience leading complex HR transformation, shared services or people transformation programmes.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering large‑scale projects across multiple workstreams, stakeholders and business functions.
  • Strong experience managing project teams rather than purely coordinating stakeholders.
  • Experience driving delivery to agreed timelines, scope and budget within complex environments.
  • Strong people leadership skills with the confidence to challenge, coach and hold team members accountable.
  • Experience managing regional or country‑level rollouts within a global transformation programme.
  • Strong programme governance, planning, risk management and stakeholder management capability.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience working at senior leadership level.
  • Ability to operate in fast‑paced environments and maintain delivery momentum under pressure.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, PeopleSoft or similar enterprise platforms would be beneficial but is not essential.

If this sounds like your next move, please apply now.
