Hourly Rate: £15.62 to £17.52 per hour with enhanced rate for UK public holidays
Morning 9:00am – 2:00pm
Afternoon 2:00pm – 6:00pm (temporary schedule until further notice)
Evening 6:00pm – 10:00pm + sleep night 10:00pm – 9:00am
Our service user requires 7 days care; we are looking for a member of staff to join our existing team. Please be flexible to cover sickness and annual leave within the Complex Care Assistant team.

- Previous care experience is essential
- You must be eligible to work in the UK; we do not offer sponsorship
- Full UK driving licence required to drive clients in a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV)

About the Role
Continuity of Care Services is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to provide complex support for a 50‑year‑old male client living with a spinal injury. The client requires support both in his home and in accessing the local community to maintain an active life. You will need to be able to cook from scratch, as the client enjoys home‑cooked meals, and you will have the opportunity to meet the client and his family before starting to ensure you are well prepared.
Services Delivered
The role of Healthcare Assistant requires flexibility and varies with the needs of the individual. Responsibilities include:
- Complex moving and handling
- Accompanying the client to social events or shopping
- Basic household chores
- Personal care
- Medication administration
- Catheter, stoma care, peristeen care, and autonomic dysreflexia support (training provided)
