At Continuity of Care Services, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Services Supervisor to support our growing complex care provision across Kent. This role works closely with the Care Manager and plays a key part in ensuring our clients receive safe, person‑centred, and high‑quality care. It combines supervisory responsibilities with hands‑on clinical support within a 40‑hour week that includes office work, community visits, and clinical shifts, with flexibility for alternate weekends.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Care Manager to set up care packages and introduce new staff to our clients.
- Maintain familiarity with the complex needs of each client to ensure continuity and consistency as per their care plan.
- Supervise, shadow, manage competency assessments, conduct observations, and mentor care assistants.
- Work with the care coordinator to maintain shift cover within the care package team.
- Perform clinical duties of personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, and light household duties.
- Participate in the on‑call rota, shared with the wider team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience supporting individuals with disabilities and complex health needs, including tracheostomies, ventilators, gastrostomy tubes, and bowel management care.
- QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Full UK driving licence and own car essential for the role.
- Ability to attend mandatory fully funded training.
