The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

Shifts available: This package is 24/7. Shifts are 12-14 hours

8:00am to 8:00pm or 8:00am to 10:00pm plus waking nights from 8:00pm till 8:00am. We ask that there is some flexibility to cover sickness and annual leave within the Care Assistant team.

Previous care experience is essential.

Full UK driving licence to drive clients Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) (essential).

About the Role:

Continuity of Care Services is looking for compassionate and dedicated Complex Care Assistant to support our sociable and active 40s male client living with severe traumatic brain injury. He partakes in a range of activities at home such as his exercise bike, ball games and sensory games. He enjoys a variety of music genres and likes to listen to audio books. He requires patient carers who can anticipate his needs to provide a high level of complex care and to access the community as he loves going out to country parks and the cinema too.

Our client's requirements:

  • Personal care
  • Moving and handling
  • Medication administration
  • PEG Tracheostomy Catheter (training will be given)
  • Brain awareness injury (preferred but training will be given)
  • Basic household chores

Skills training specific to the individual's needs will be provided by Continuity Training Academy.
