Becoming a carer can be an incredibly rewarding and fulfilling career. If you have relevant experience of caring and, preferably, live in care, or are NVQ/Diploma qualified we would like to hear from you. If you are not a UK resident, you will need to have clearance to work in the UK. As well as this, you will need an up-to-date enhanced CRB/ISA check (or be prepared to have one). References must be supplied on your application.
Carers can choose their own work shift patterns. Some are happy to work for months or more at a time, others prefer two weeks on and two weeks off. The flexibility of work options also means carers can plan their income requirements exactly to their needs. We do however ask our carers to commit to no less than two week bookings, in order to ensure continuity for themselves and their clients.
The close contact with one client on a one to one basis means carers can have a more fulfilling work experience, higher job satisfaction and much better relationships with the people they look after. As a result, the quality of care provided is also much more focused on the client's specific needs and requirements.
