The Role: As a Senior Consultant, you will have the opportunity to be part of and drive finance transformation projects. This role is aimed at someone with Workiva design and implementation experience and 3-5 years overall consulting experience. It will focus on delivering finance transformations leveraging multiple leading technologies via our best in breed partnerships. You will lead Workiva platform implementations, guiding clients through end-to-end transformation projects that enhance their reporting capabilities. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration and effective use of Workiva’s capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Workiva Implementation: Lead the deployment and customization of Workiva solutions for GSR, ESG, and GRC reporting.
- Technical Advisory: Provide expert guidance on Workiva functionality, integrations, and automation.
- Data Management: Ensure proper structuring, mapping, and validation of financial, compliance, and ESG data.
- Regulatory Compliance: Support clients in aligning reporting processes with IFRS, SEC, CSRD, and other relevant frameworks.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current reporting workflows and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with finance, compliance, and sustainability teams to tailor solutions to their needs.
- Training & Enablement: Conduct workshops and hands-on sessions to upskill client teams in Workiva usage.
- Project Management: Oversee delivery timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
Technical Skills Required:
- Workiva expertise – hands-on experience in configuring GSR/Multi-entity, ESG, or GRC modules with at least 3 implementations.
- Strong understanding of financial and regulatory reporting frameworks (e.g., IFRS, SEC, ESEF, CSRD, SOX, Basel III).
- Proficiency in data integration, transformation, and reporting automation.
- Knowledge of ERP & finance systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday).
- Familiarity with risk management and compliance methodologies.
- Strong Excel and SQL skills for data analysis and validation.
- Understanding of ESG disclosure frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).
- Ability to create interactive dashboards & reports within Workiva.
Key Qualifications:
- 3-5 years consulting experience.
- Certifications and proven delivery experience in Workiva implementations with a focus on GSR, ESG, or GRC.
- Preferably certifications also in another RTR product such as Blackline.
- Background in finance, accounting, risk, compliance, or sustainability consulting where a relevant qualification is preferred (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to lead workshops and training sessions.
