On behalf of M&G, AMS is looking for a number of Business Analysts - Financial Crime (Asset Management) to be based in London. This is an initial 6-month contract, offered on a hybrid working model. We will consider flexible working arrangements for any of our roles and also offer workplace accommodations to ensure you have what you need to effectively deliver in your role.
Job description - the role:
We are looking for a hands-on individual with a strong background in financial crime, asset management, business change, and experience contributing to the successful delivery of complex transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities for this role:
- Analyse existing standards, identify compliance gaps, and support the implementation of new standards.
- Assist in designing and embedding new processes and procedures to align with transformation goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive business change across financial crime initiatives.
- Provide project management support, including tracking progress, coordinating tasks, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Facilitate workshops, document requirements, and translate business needs into actionable plans.
- Actively contribute to implementation activities, working closely with cross-functional teams.
Candidate Profile: Skills & experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a background in business change and transformation.
- Strong Asset Management background.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of financial crime compliance (AML, KYC, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience in large-scale implementation projects (not remediation-focused).
- Some project management experience, with the ability to support planning and delivery tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive, hands-on approach - willing to get involved in detailed work when required.
