On behalf of Tesco Bank, AMS are now looking for a Credit Risk Specialist (SAS) based in Edinburgh (Hybrid) for an initial contract length of 12 Months.

Purpose of the role:

We’re looking for an experienced Credit Risk Specialist to join Tesco Bank's Credit Risk function. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of a major integration project, supporting the migration of Tesco Bank's data estate. You’ll play a key role in designing strategies, managing data flows, and ensuring seamless integration across two complex systems.

What you’ll do:
  • Analyse, define, and develop credit risk strategies and associated reporting and controls.
  • Work closely with the programme team to manage data transfer and integration activities.
  • Interpret and handle large, complex datasets to support data mapping and migration.
  • Operate across Tesco Bank data environments, reconciling and pulling data between systems.
  • Design strategies and make decisions to ensure smooth integration of credit risk processes.
The skills you’ll need:
  • Proven experience within a Credit Risk role.
  • Ability to work with and interpret large datasets for data mapping activities.
  • Proficiency in SAS/SQL and MS Excel for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Excellent numeracy skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Solid understanding of credit bureau data and its key characteristics.
