On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet\’s vital power needs we are looking for a Benefits Manager for a 12-month contract based in Derby, hybrid working. 1-2 days per week on site.
Purpose of the role
We are currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced Benefits Manager to take ownership of our employee benefits programs. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all benefits offerings are fully compliant with relevant regulations while continuously enhancing the overall value and appeal of our benefits to support employee wellbeing and satisfaction.
You will manage our TotalReward benefits portal, overseeing a wide range of flexible employee benefits, including our Company and Employee Car Leasing schemes, as well as a variety of other perks designed to enrich the employee experience. A key part of your role will involve providing expert support to employees, helping them navigate the complexities of benefits administration and ensuring they fully understand and can access the benefits available to them.
What you\\\’ll do
- Oversee both Company Fleet and Car Leasing Scheme. This includes complaint management, scheme improvements.
- Manage enrolment, maintenance, and communication of benefits programs working with relevant internal stakeholders, and suppliers.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and legal requirements.
- Help employees with questions, claims, and general benefits-related matters that can\\\’t be resolved via our helpline or Employee Hub.
- Analyse benefits costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure budget adherence.
- Research market trends, benchmark against competitors.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to educate employees about their benefits.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with benefit vendors and ensure timely and accurate service. Work collaboratively with internal teams as and when required such as Payroll, Tax and Procurement as well as Occupational Health and Wellbeing teams.
- Track and analyse benefit utilisation data to identify trends, evaluate program effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions.
- Participate in the development and review of benefit policies and procedures.
- Lead and support projects related to benefits administration and implementation, such as new program rollouts or system upgrades.
The skills you\\\’ll need
- Experience of working within a large enterprise dealing with several vendors at one time.
- A good understanding of UK legislation, regulations, and common benefits programs.
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with employees, HR staff, and external vendors.
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues related to benefits administration.
- Ability to manage projects effectively, from planning and execution to tracking and reporting.
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems, such as payroll and benefits administration platforms.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to employees and stakeholders.
