HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: ContiTech is seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our Maintenance team. In this role, you will apply technical expertise and precision to fabricate, repair, and maintain metal components that support our industrial operations. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on experience in welding techniques, a strong commitment to safety, the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings, and a willingness to support maintenance activities on a wide range of equipment.
Your Tasks:
- Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately perform assigned work.
- Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding based on project specifications and maintenance needs.
- Complete field installation of welds, including ducts, piping systems, and structural steel.
- Fabricate custom metal parts, components, and equipment to support plant operations.
- Repair machinery, equipment, and structural components to minimize downtime.
- Support preventative and corrective maintenance activities across the facility.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with 5S and safety expectations.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical training or certification in welding and fabrication.
- 2+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
- Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator, MIG, TIG, & stick welding.
- Strong understanding of welding safety standards and proper use of PPE (face shield, gloves, etc.).
- Proficiency with electrical and manual tools (powered saws, calipers, mill, lathe, plasma cutter, etc.).
