Job Description
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Safely drive yard tractors and road tractors to and from a destination within a 20-mile radius.Move trailers at the site as needed.
- Complete trailer sanitation and inspection before a trailer is loaded, unloaded, or staged on a dock.
- Conduct regular inspections of all transportation equipment. Notify the appropriate management whenever damage is noticed or repairs need to be made.
- Store material and equipment in storage trailers.
- Conduct an inventory of all transportation equipment.
- Daily cycle count and inspection of storage trailers that are full areas, and enter in the system.
- When supporting receiving department, complete loading and unloading process for the the loads assigned to you by the supervisor or lead.
- Ensure Trailer Entry process.
- Receive in all incoming materials, match in all Documents and COA information.Make sure COA and BOL numbers and quantities are accurate. Report Inconsistencies to the supervisor.
- Receive and inspect all Tooling, equipment and Large MRO orders.
- Prepare and load all out going shipments from the plant β Scrap loads, Hazardous/Non-haz loads, empty drums, Returned loads, Raw materials to other plants, tooling outgoing, some FGβs, etc.
- When supporting shipping department, pull materials, prepare shipments for customers and repack materials when needed.
- Support in Cycle Counts and Inventories.
- Operate a forklift proficiently and safely to load/unload trucks and to locate materials using a scanner.
- Act as an effective team member to communicate daily tasks and instructions.
- Follow policies and procedures that require a signature during orientation and any updates, as required.
- Understand and Comply with the Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health management system.

Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Driver\’s license, CDL, HAZMAT (or willing to obtain HAZMAT Endorsement), and Forklift experience required.
- Experience in Warehousing & Inventory Control preferred.
- Ability to operate a forklift proficiently and safely to load/unload trucks and to locate materials using a scanner.
- Great attendance record.
- Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment which includes safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
- Must be able to work in an industrial manufacturing environment with the ability to lift 50 lbs. and be able to stand/walk for 12 hour shifts.
