Job Description
- Negotiation of contracts and implementation and communication for one or multiple plants in the region
- Creation of savings, potential, synergies
- Driving improvement processes
- Securing delivery quantities
- Supplier communication
- Internal and external correspondence for the area of responsibility, close communication with SCM, SD, R&D and Quality Department
- Supporting group-wide communication of market-relevant information
- Supporting global lead buyers with background information (trends)
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years Buying / Purchasing experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Completing a range of tasks with different degrees of difficulty within agreed timescales
- Organising and prioritising a varied workload with minimum amount of supervision
- Respecting confidentiality
Additional Information
- Good GCSE's and ideally A Levels or equivalent
- Buying qualification desirable
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Interpersonal skills and verbal / non-verbal communication skills
- Time management and organizational skills
