Product Development Conveyor Belts - includes support for all conveyor belt types, including engineered products for the agricultural market, service materials, and special projects as warranted. The emphasis will be on developing products that meet the requirements of our agricultural customers and providing support to maintain those product lines.
Use technical knowledge of products and systems to directly support customers with product development and application engineering requests. Define DFMEA and product DVP to meet project requirements, and develop test plans and procedures. Drive the New Product Developments from G30 to G80. Serve as the technical lead in development projects, internal or with customers. Design tooling models and generate detailed drawings using CAD software. Collaborate with Material Platform / Material Process Engineering to define specifications and test procedures for raw material suppliers (cord, fabric, coating, rubber). Assist in developing and approving new alternative material suppliers and support audits if necessary. Systematically analyze own and competitor products, including performance and manufacturing processes. Train new engineering staff and other groups in the organization, providing support in complaint resolution and acting as a backup for Application Engineering.

Analyze products and manufacturing processes for performance improvements. Train and support staff in technical and complaint resolution areas.
Your Profile
What You Will Bring to the Role
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software (Inventor or SolidWorks preferred).
- Technical knowledge of agricultural conveyor belt systems.
- Understanding of quality management methods (FMEA, statistics, etc.).
- Willingness to travel up to 15%.
