Position Summary
Main job functions: To work as part of the local IT team in Grimsby supporting the system, software, hardware, network and users.
Principle Accountabilities
Duties, Responsibilities and Key Tasks
- Create and support internal reports for other areas of the business.
- Create and support internal applications.
- Responding to 1st line user support tickets.
- Day to day support and maintenance of networks and equipment.
- Provide support to IT and/or business process improvements installation and setup of equipment.
- Assist in setting up workstations and user profiles for new employees.
- Assist in setting up mobile phones and shop floor scanners.
- Working with backend systems and IP addresses.
- Software image installs.
- IT administration.
- Liaise with Continental support – competence centres.
- Support of shop floor and lab equipment.
- Work towards completing a formal qualification.
- Carry out the job requirements in full compliance with the Code of Conduct.
- Support and demonstrate the 4 values and associated behaviours in carrying out your duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications
Experience Required
Experience with a networked computer system and programming would be preferred but not essential.
Knowledge Required
- Respecting confidentiality.
- Knowledge of programming tools.
- Knowledge of Office 365 tools.
- Knowledge of servers and virtual servers, networking, TCP/IP.
Qualifications / Skills Required
- 2 A Levels (Grade C or above); 1 must be a computer related subject or
- Foundation degree / BTEC in Computing (or Similar) Merit or above.

- Time management and organisational skills.
