Our Hoosier location at Plymouth, IN is seeking Production Operators, Mixing Technicians, and Final Finish Operators to join our team! Are you ready to fuel passion, pride, and success?
2nd Shift Schedule Options:
- 3 pm - 11 pm, M-F
- 4 pm - 12 am M-F
As a Production Operator with Hoosier Racing Tire, you have the opportunity to be hired and train for a variety of different roles! Our roles include:
- Band Builder
- Calendar Operator
- Mixing Operator
- Final Finish Operator
- Press Operator
- Many More!
Specific responsibilities in each role can be discussed in detail during an interview, but general duties include:
- Measuring material length, width, and quality to ensure our product meets customer specifications.
- Reading specifications, using hand tools, and gauging devices to monitor current and ongoing product quality.
- Reacting quickly to equipment downtime or other extraordinary conditions, and notifying team lead whenever such conditions occur.
- Keeping work areas neat, clean, and orderly in order to maintain a safe work environment.
- Following standard practices and performing all work necessary to promptly and accurately obtain quality and quantity production.
- Following all plant Safety and environmental policies.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to follow instructions written in standard English.
- Must be able to work overtime, as needed.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to bend, climb, squat, crawl, reach and twist frequently.
- Ability to lift 20-75 lbs. frequently and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
- Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity.
