Job Opportunity: Medical Director & Consultant Psychiatrist
Location: South West of England

Hours: Full-Time
Overview: We have an excellent full-time opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist based in the Southwest of England.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT)
- Take overall responsibility for patient treatment plans in conjunction with the MDT
- Assess referrals & undertake mental state examinations of service users
- Undertake appropriate investigations, diagnosis & treatment
- Lead the implementation of risk assessment, risk management & embed clinical governance
- Supervise reports for Mental Health Act tribunals & managers’ hearings & attend hearings
Qualifications:
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
- On the GMC Specialist Register, or within 3 months of completion.
- Section 12(2) MHA approval or close to completion.
